Looks like his talk of wanting to be with a winning team was all hot air! Apparently the LLE wasn't enough. I dont know what he was expecting for a
contract after his short stint here. He's a 32 year old point guard that barely contributed in the playoffs, missing wide open jumpers that was his normal
forte. Looks like it'll be someone new for the thrid year in a row to backup Rondo.

There has been talk that the Celtics are afraid that Rondo's salary demands will exceed what they are willing to pay, that he thinks he's a max player
and the Celtics don't. My reading of the max salary rules would put a guy with Rondo's service time (4 years after next season) somewhere in the
vicinity of $14 million per year - give or take a little. I have now heard Cedric Maxwell say twice that he spoke to Rondo last week and asked him what it
would take to sign him and...

Would you trade, assuming the NBA rules permitted it, Kendrick Perkins straight up for Greg Oden? I don't think it's nearly the no-brainer that it
might appear at first. While neither guy is the epitomy of durability, Oden so far has been much more fragile than Perk, and who know if that will ever

I think it may be that matchups make a bigger difference than is commonly discussed. The Magic match up really well with the Cavs, better than they do against
