Definitely sorry to hear that, Zeke. I had a feeling. I've been that route myself. It is brutal on the emotions, heart and head.

Zeke - you have joined an elite club here at Celtics17 - seriously, been there done that and it isn't easy. Here is my offering of some condolence to your
situation. Keep the peace.

Sorry for not replying sooner to this thread -- I've been posting on the game threads but haven't been following this thread until tonight.
I think the CelticsGreen board is an excellent choice to migrate to. Good posters and no Zen-ish posters, if you Scout vets catch my drift. My job as mod over at celticsgreen has been the easiest in the world -- apparently, until now! j/k

Zeke, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. It has always been a pleasure exchanging ideas with you, and I hope to continue to do so -- but of course the
real world often demands our attention. Best of luck to you.

I want to echo the show of support for Rob. While I am not a veteran of divorce, I recently went through 7 months of intense struggles renegotiating the time I
get with my son each year. It looked bleak and we were headed back to court with some pretty hard feelings, but thanks to a last chance effort we were able to
work it out. Anyway, I think a divorce would be more difficult, but I can sympathize with the emotional havoc. I'll be thinking of you man...
As far as the Celtics Green board goes, I know JB always liked it over there and said they were very courteous and responsive to our postings of announcements for the show. If Mev and Shirley call it home then you know the quality is there. I am not sure exactly of how much money we have left in our account, but I believe it's around $100. If Celtics Green doesn't need the money, we could make a charitable donation in memory of Red Auerbach... |

That would be fine by me Jugs.
I have to admit - I like the format and layout here better, but that's not the point of moving of course . . . |

Thanks for the thoughts. I signed up on the new board, but haven't had a time to 'dig in' yet. It doesn't seem like activity here has started
to dwindle yet, so I may not start trying to be active here until then.

Right Zeke, things are picking up now on this board with all the news and the playoffs around the corner. I would prefer to stay here until this season's
soap opera plays itself out.
Besdies, I will miss Zeke's and yak's avatars. I don't think FLCeltsfan will appreciate those very much. |

I like the Celtics Green one the best. I'm already on the espn board as 34PaulP. ESPN boards are ridiculously bad for all the same reasons that this is a
good board- I vote we stay away from that one so we don't want to pull our hair out - assuming all of us still have some ; ).
But like its been said already, lets hold off on any official move until this season wraps itself up. |

I agree with that too.

Let's hold off on donating the money in the kitty until we're sure we're closing up shop here.
To be honest, I'm having second thoughts. It may be that we want to keep this board active and just have a second home at celticsgreen, so to speak. Never underestimate the heart of a champion! |

That's fine if the board stays active. This is the playoffs. If everyone was posting like this before there would no reason to move. I'm willing to
wait and have second home.

At this point I'm content to keep this board alive and also visit/read/post at celticsgreen. I understand the desire for a more active place to talk
Celtics, but I know I would miss the unique chemistry we have here. Put me down for dual citizenship.
We have money in the kitty that would be able to keep this board ad-free for quite a while (I believe). Or we can hold onto that money and let this board revert to the ad-supported version for a while, until we see how things are headed. That might be the best thing for the summer anyway. Beat LA! Beat LA! |

The situation has changed dramatically in the past few weeks and the board is quiate active again, even getting cameo appearances from walterbrownshat and
Causeway.
I'm not anxious to move though things could die down now that the season is over and the draft is not much interest to the C's. Generally speaking I'm not a polygamist. |

Well - http://celticsgreen.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=0506 appears to be slower than our own
Celtics17 . . . I'm two-timing between the two boards at this point, but mostly posting here it seems . . . what to do?

It seems like the board has really died this time - except for those of us who play fantasy ball together. I've been over at celticsgreen lately but
haven't seen anyone else there, except for one Kuberski sighting. Are you guys hanging out somewhere else or just not posting anywhere anymore?

I post occasionally on Celtic Green but I definitely don't post near as much as I use to. I'll probably start posting there from now on as it seems
like a ghost town here. It was nice while it lasted though.
