Everything is about THIS season and they couldn't afford to wait for him to get in shape. At least that's my thinking.

Plus the owners probably saw their airplane fuel bill during the preseason with Sweetney on board. Yes I'll be here all week.

I'm not sure that if they kept him, he would have ever gotten into shape. It reminds me of another player from several years back with the same problem, only worse. Tom "Pizza Boy" Hamilton.

Good passer for a big man but couldn't quite get his act or weight together. Think of all the millions these guys have lost because they couldn't develop good eating habits.
