Well that sucked...
To state the obvious, we did not defend the 3 well, got killed at the FT line (missed half our FTs while PHX hit 23-30) and Sheed did his best Antoine Walker immitation (0-6 from the 3pt line, 0-5 in the 4th qt). Hopefully, we will rebound from the last two crummy games and not hit a bad losing streak like we did last year. |

Just followed on ESPN Gamecast, but has the same impression about Sheed. He is a decent, but not a great 3 point shooter. Why are about half his shots from
behind the arc? Wonder if anyone will mention it to him? Let Ray, Paul, and House take the 3s, we need Sheed more for his inside game, and an occasional 3.....

What struck me is that we couldn't stop them all night. Nash killed us with the pick and roll and they beat us down the floor far too often. And Jason
Richardson was en fuego. We've seen him in that zone before and he's pretty much unstoppable when he's like that.
Not the best effort, but the boys are at the end of a brutal 8 games in 12 days stretch tonight. I guess they won't go undefeated. update: looking at the plus/minus stats here it looks like this is the first game where the bench let us down.

Kuberski wrote: Thats not his game and I said it from the start. He's a face up big, like Garnett (who actually seems to've picked up a little post type moves thankfully). What I didn't know was how fond he was of jacking up 3's. I thought he was in a little closer than that on his shot. This team is chock full of better 3 shooters, someone needs to pull him to the side and tell him if anything to move it in a couple feet.

Not sure what happened here, except perhaps the celts didn't give it the effort on D. This should've been a breeze far as I can see.
