So I think we're saying that the first quarter is what we base it on. In that case, it definitely goes to Paul Pierce. That's what Tommy said too.

Yeah, Pierce gets the vote...

For the Bucks game, I have a hard time giving it to a big man because of all the offensive boards we gave up. I'll give it to Cassell, because he hit a
bunch of shots in the early second quarter that keyed the run that put us above 10 - after that, we never looked back.
Welcome to Boston, Sammy! |

I dunno. The Bucks cheerleaders are kinda cute.

I'm going with Eddie House for the Bucks game...

Rondo/Cassell get my vote - can't decide between them. Pierce deserves consideration as well, but Sam's 3 pointer and Rondo's totally tacking out
his 6th gear during the run back into the game were so important...

I was wavering between Rondo and Cassell too, but I will give it solely to Rondo. Yes Sam hit some big shots, but Rondo's turnaround in the second half was
really the key. He gave Parker a taste of his own medicine and played great defense as well. Taking nothing away from Cassell, but he did exactly what you
expect from a vet backup PG, handle the ball and hit shots coming off screens or when the defense collapses on the others. Yes it's definitely Rondo -- how
about that HUGE rebound towards the end to seal it?

Cassell also had a huge rebound at the end, hit the three pointer for their first lead, and he was the one who stabilized the team and then nurtured Rondo back
to health when they were both on the quarter with 5 minutes remaining in the first half. I agree, Rondo took over the game, but I would wager that
Cassell's presence was just the support Rondo needed to take it to the next level. Sam was coaching the hell out of Rondo on and off the court and doing in
a supportive way, with encouragement and enthusiasm for who Rondo is as a player...

Rajon Rondo with assist for Cassell!

Yup. The PG position is solid in so many ways. Cassell adds so many intangibles. Plus House is now in his more natural combo guard role.

I am relieved now in terms of that position. Boy that feels nice, eh SDiddy?!

I'm splitting my vote as well. Both Rondo and Cassell deserve it.

I'll go with Cassell because he got us back in the game.
But how bout Rondo knocking down those two clutch FTs after that huge rebound?!!
IT'S ALL OVER. IT'S ALL OVER. And the Boston Celtics are World Champions for the SEVENTEENTH TIME.

I'll go with Leon Powe for the Rockets game. The kid is learning how to use his body strength to his advantage, plus he knocked down a few mid-range
jumpers. I don't expect this every night, but when the matchup is right, he is stepping up.
