Garnett. Seven blocks and a clutch shot in Ben Wallace's mug.

KG.....but I want to always give it to Davis...just because.
You're right Walter. Muhammed Ali said that. You've got the details better than I do. |

Rondo. He dominated the game offensively in the 3rd quarter (when they built a good-size lead) by being more aggressive offensively than I've ever seen him. Pull-up jumpers on the break, jumpers off the dribble, penetrate and dish, penetrate and finish, he did it all.

Yeah, I was amazed with Rondo and it was just what we needed to see from him. The only complaint I have is that down that ugly stretch in the last 4 quarters when the team started hucking 3's that he did not continue to play aggressively and try to get to the line by attacking the rim. That's precisely when they need him to do that, but given who he is taking the court with, he gets a pass. It will come as his confidence builds and we saw him take another leap towards that end throughout last night's game...

Yup, Rondo. One of the better games of his career. Nice to see against the defensive orriented Bulls. 7 boards and 5 assist, against only one turnover as well.
He was also a team leading +16. Big Baby was right there, at +13 which is pretty amazing considering the other members of the bench: Posey +1 Tony -7 House -2 |

I have a question . . . are we limiting the vote to only those that watched the game (or at least some of it)? The reason is, I missed the last two games despite having them taped (I know - I'm hiding behind the tT's couch - but don't worry, I haven't seen tT, just a bunch of dust bunnies).

As long as you watched the games (it doesn't have to be live)you can vote. If not, you're going just based on box scores and heresay.
But at this point not many are voting so I'm sure we'll take whatever we can get. |

I'll go for Big Baby. Those offensive rebounds crushed the Bulls' spirits. That 2nd round rookie BBD was making an impact while 60 million dollar Ben Wallace was being ignored with impunity and former number 1 pick Joe Smith was bricking jumpers.
I loved KG's 7 blocks, too. Poor Nocioni couldn't get anything off against him. Anyone else want Nocioni on this team? I'd love to have that guy on my team in any 4th quarter. |

Glen Davis for the Kings game. 16 and 9 in his first NBA start.

Davis - he did great in the third quarter. 10 points and 6 rebounds that period...

Davis - when you have a big man that can handle contact and is a good FT shooter on top of it - it's golden. Davis went 10-10 from the line last night. That stuff just can't be under-rated.

Pierce - he shouldered the scoring load. I didn't like the way he played at times, but he got it done and helped keep KG under 30 minutes. Tony Allen is damn close to getting this with his defense and resurgence.

I think you gotta give it to Tony, holding Michael Redd to 7 points is no easy task.
