The light came on with Dorrell Wright then when I picked him up he forget how to play basketball!
Does anyone else have somebody that just drives you crazy but you can't quite bring yourself to let that player go?

Good Lord Bargnani is KILLIN me! What a waste. Is it too much to ask to get positive points? Man I should of went with my instinct that he's nothing more than a Toni Kukoc. Got suckered into the ole Euro upside thing.

No but it's starting to look like I should have waited on Jermaine Neal.
Yak has the best of me that one right now. Whatever. Yi will come around sooner or later. |

There hasn't been a fantasy post in a while, so I thought I'd mention that the Turkoglu-lead JMost Jamokes have arrived, with Elton Brand still waiting in the wings . . . great job on assembling your fantasy team JMost!
And yak deserves an honorable mention for somehow having the unluckiest of schedules. How else do you explain having accumulated the second most points, but only being 0.500 in the head-to-head competition? This week, my Open-Facers are in a battle with the other division leader Freaks and Zekes, with the outcome linked to the fortunes of Ray Allen going against Kobe Bryant tonight. If Kobe scores his 80 points, Zeke may pull out the win, otherwise, the MVBob's Open-Facers will remain undefeated. |

Thanks MVBob! If I hadn't blundered and given up too early on Mo Williams (who got off to an absolutely terrible start and had me thinking he was yet another guy who took a dive after getting his big contract) I'd be even better off. Oh well.

Wow I look like some kind of villain now. I got both Mo and O'Neal on my squad.
am I as despised as the Celtics in the NBA?

Released folks that I wish I could get my hands on:
Tayshaun Prince - tT missed out and kmart scooped him up Nick Collison - ugh was paying attention Beno Udrih - tT at least got one prize . . . until Bibby returns Antonio McDyess - Zeke again - who'd a thunk those knees would hold up Brendan Haywood - my only claim to FA fame thus far . . . and the finalists for top pick-up of the year: Mo Williams - JMost's only mistake pounced on by yak Brad Miller - another one kmart scooped up off waivers, how did he do it? Jose Calderon - Zeke's penchant for those Europeans pays off!! Hedo Tukoglu - so JMost can't cry too hard about Mo Williams! Hopefully I won't regret my own Jameer Nelson, Troy Murphy and Ron Brewer being let go . . . |

I can't believe it.
My team blew up for 250 points tonight. Salmons had a ridiculous 60 Fantasy points. Deron Williams had 20 assists. And Mike Conley is back! Though I had him out of the line up, he did better than a 20 point game by Maggette with 37 fantasy points. I'm actually beating Jug, a quality opponent. I'm sure my outburst will bring some bad karma my way. Heck with that! I've had my share of bad karma!

Ugh - I hate this league - I am getting beat by the Senior Men's League team now...
I knew I should have drafted Dwight Howard... |

Ha! Ha! The voice of mediocrity speaks!
Be nice to me and maybe I'll give you a break on a trade like I did with poor, immature Yak. I have Conley, D. Williams and Udrih at PG. Maybe Conley and Gasol start to put up numbers and I can crawl back into this thing. |

Start packaging your players and hope someone will bite on a two for one Juggy.
It's good to see tenaciousT excited about the league again. Just don't get too excited, tT. What with the old ticker and all...

I thought I might have an attack when I checked out John Salmon's FPs that night. and 250 FPs was incredible for my team that night.
I'm not used to big numbers from my underacheivers. Maybe the tide is turning. Cheer up, Jug. Just remember...I have to look up to see mediocrity from where my team is. |

What's amazing is that if you win this week tT, you'll only be a game behind Juggy. Losing Shaq, McGrady and Wilcox this week has Juggy in a tough spot.

Yeah, I totally screwed. In another league I have been suffering through Bibby and Kevin Martin injuries - ridiculous the injury bug I have had in my fantasy leagues. If I had drafted Arenas' instead of Duncan (I almost did) I would have been on fire!

Someone might want to tell JMost we only get 30 transaction moves per season. He's already at 26 and we still have eight weeks left plus the playoffs to
go.

Thanks Yak. I burned about 20 of them trying to make up for my blunder on Mo Williams. Now that I have Redd I'm gonna stand pat for a good long while.

problem with NBA.com | ||
|
Anyone who has a player on either the Bucks or Hornets should keep an eye on whether NBA.com is crediting your players with the right amount of points for the
1/21 game. As of 7 PM Monday it is not including the reb, assists, steals or blocks. The discrepancy could easily be enough to determine the week's
results. I'll check again tonight and early tomorrow and see if it's fixed.
