I just think it's a little harsh to put it in Ugh's face that he is losing to me this week - I mean, he's already lost his hair, how much more pain can you cause a man in one lifetime...

Look at that, I beat the wooly Himalayan mammal with two power forwards tied behind my back.

JMost - you even have that ace up your sleeve if Brand returns this season - watch out for the Jamokes!!!

Yes I lost to the *gag* Jamokes.
But he lucked out only having Garnett play twice last week.Garnett's getting me over 55pts per game so far. The man is a beast. You just don't know how good a guy is until you get him on a fantasy squad. Plus JMost shrewd transactions moves to add and drop players got him a few extra games I believe. But I still ended with 600 points with Thorton, Horford and Peja putting up a stinker on Sunday so I'm not too worried about my squad. In fact I'm the only team that got 600 pts that didn't win this week. I dropped a lot of dead weight of my team last week though. In this format where nearly every player gets to play you can't afford to have too weak or too many injured players on the bench for too long a period. I guess I'll take out my frustrations on the undersized power forwards. I need to know who this is though in order to make fun of him. I expect a lot more trash talking this week between JMost and Mbob since they go head to head. None of this we're blood brothers since we went to a Celtic game together crap. |

Yak, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that I eked out a win. I was driving home yesterday cursing as the Celtics game went into OT, and then listening as Garnett racked up the points, imagining losing my matchup with you by 5 points.
I don't know how long I can hang in there with Brand using up a roster spot, but I figure if I can play .500 ball until he returns I'll be in great shape for the playoffs. |

Same here JMost. When Allen hit the game winner I was like Yeaaaaaa...no wait a minute...nooooooooooooooo. I wanted double OT.
Picking up Hedo was a goldmine for you. I had him on my squad last year for a short period and he wasn't putting up the numbers he is now. Plus Taysaun Prince when crazy without Hamilton in the lineup. |

Actually my Open-Facers and the Jamokes both did well regarding total scoring, along with Zeke and Jugs (and okay, yak too
But like last year, I don't think anyone can hang with me. Enjoy fighting for 2nd place dudes! |

Hmmm, last year, six weeks into the season, I was cruising along in first place when Yao and Pierce went down within a few days of each other. Can't remember if you were in second or third before that.

Some incredible lines put up last night in the NBA - Paul and Peja for the Hornets, Szczerbiak (as in Wally) and that rookie for the Sonics, Marbury, Randolph and Crawford of the Knicks, Howard (again), Yao, Josh Smith and King James to name a few . . . none of which are mine.
I'm getting a knocked in the head by the Jamokes, similar to my 2nd PG (Jameer Nelso) who had a DNP for a mild concussion during practice. I think kmart mentioned how horribull da Bulls are playing thanks in part to Big Ben's underwhelming play - my guy of course . . . The good news is that I am still able to walk after playing 2 hours of basketball last night!! |

That's pretty impressive MVBob. Two hours at our advanced age is quite a feat.

Hey!!!!
I was finally able to access the site! Eee-hah!! But then I saw I lost to the Franks last week, and I'm getting a beat down by The Perfect Storm. Maybe I shouldn't look. Where is the boxscore or line stats for each player in the weekly match up? I can't find it. Wally world went crazy last night. |

Must click on SCOREBOARD
Gay had a 47 point fantasy performance and i could not put him in the lineup! |

Sounds like I should prepare a trade offer right away, Jason Richardson for Rudy Gay?

That would be done deal if Gay does not receive eligibility for F. If you're being serious.

MVJ - I'm serious, but just a warning, I may change my mind at any moment . . .
I have no idea how JMost let me in to snatch a victory from him . . . I had thought he had it locked up with a nice 150 point lead going into the weekend . . . Anyway, I have to laugh at yak's luck of putting up good points but having his opponents still doing better. It will get better yak . . . wait till you get a chance to play knucklecup. He'll guarantee your fantasy bball team a win. |
