So Bob are you pulling an Isiah with your team?

We seem to be peeking at the right time of the season. I think I have to say that Al Thornton is what happened to my team. I have struggled with injuries and had a hard time finding a good pick-up for my squad. It's going to be hard choosing my keepers next season for sure. Do I go for youth or experience or avoid injury plagued guys like McGrady? I am always building my team for the playoffs, but this keeper thing really changes the focus a little. Anyway, nice to see my team have a solid week. Two weeks to the playoffs. Interesting note about this new format only calculating overall points, it seems that our win loss records correlate directly to the amount of points we scored with the exception of Yak who is down one spot in the standings. Pretty interesting - I thought we might see a little shake-up but apparently not...

See, that's why I hate the rotisserie format. I suppose the only way to do rotisserie is to go all out and say screw the playoffs and then if someone gives up on the league then it doesn't hurt anyone else, but I happen to like having playoffs. Categories is where it's at really, if you're going to have playoffs. Even guys who don't bother playing still win some categories and that keeps things somewhat level no matter the participation level. Anyway, we can do it however it makes sense next season, but I will get bored with rotisserie format, especially once I figure out that I have been mathematically ruled out. I think if we shrink the league and allow everyone to make the playoffs using the category system we will have the most fun. Especially if we bring in a small amount of money into the equation and give payouts to regular season winners and playoff winners alike with the regular season simply determining seedings for all team in the playoffs...
