I will probably be less prolific this season. I know I will go to less games. Boy, Atlanta is an interesting franchise right now, isn't it? If they lose both Josh's, it depends on who they get back for Smith, before you decide of they really lost their mojo. From what I've read of fan reaction in Hotlanta, their feelings are split. Some are glad to see Smoove go. Others say they won't go to anymore games or watch the team. Woodson is not held in high esteem either.

Besdies Childress, Biedrins was close to signing with some Russian team. Kristic may still do so. NBA teams can no longer afford to be isolationists in the global marketplace. By the way, that was a nice piece on Gordon, Deng and Okafor. IIRC, Okafor was always projected as the guy he became. He had his chance to be a big fish in a small pond on the Charlotte team and it didn't happen because, well, he's just not a superstar. You speculated that he could be a good #3 or #4, I actually rate him just a tad higher as a #2 or #3, depending of course, on who the #1 and #2 guys are. Europe/Russia came out of left field. We may be losing some of our Euro crop. But so far, though every agent in the world will now use it as a negotiating tool, only one native is gone. Josh Smith is the next big landing.
